		<description>True, there is sucessful implementation of open designs with excellent bass quality but low bass reponse is never as good as achieved by a sealed/ported box design.

I feel part of the experience you are missing with bands such as The Prodigy is the physical feedback generated from low bass response.</description>

		<description>You&#039;d actually find the reason for poor bass response is due to the &#039;Open&#039; design on the speaker. The speakers are effectively an open baffle design.

This is the reason why most earphones use a ported design to increase bass response for a paticular frequency.</description>
